      • Lead on SIDER Project, which is the new system-wide method for making budget changes at Rochester Regional Health. Includes the ability to request different budget change types – incremental expense, labor, non-labor, capital, statistical changes and more. There is business logic that drives a workflow depending on the type of request. The toolset comprehends workflow for approval and for making the appropriate budgetary impact.• Was a key member of the team in all phases of the project from conception, requirements gathering, development, UAT, QA, implementation, and post-live support.• Changed the way Rochester Regional budgets from a 1-year cycle to a 3-year rolling budget cycle.• The SIDER tool gives visibility into what changed the budget and why it changed. It is also flexible in that it gives both operations and finance the ability to make changes.• Became the key focal point for knowledge internally on how the new budget works.• Proficient at developing BI reports using Infor Application Studio. Created many dashboards and custom reports using SQL and OLAP cubes.• In SQL Server created many custom tables, views, queries, functions, and stored procedures to meet business needs. Created jobs to process cubes or update tables on a schedule.• Became very good at building Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes and Infor OLAP cubes to support evolving business needs. Using Visual Studio and SQL built a multi-dimensional FTE cube. This was designed to combine actuals and budget at an employee level to analyze metrics such as dollars, hours, FTEs and variances to budget. Show less • As part of Finance, my role was to support behavioral health operations. Met with operational leaders weekly to discuss business and understand any changes needed to the budget. It also helped them with any major variance to budget and tried to get an understanding of what was driving the variance.• Worked with NYS DOH to apply for grant funding for new behavioral health programs.• Part of the Decision Package Project which collected new budget requests across the organization. Created Excel VBA macro to aggregate data from a series of Excel workbooks into one workbook.
