      Activities and Societies: Member of Junior Science Club; helped organise Student Research Seminars (Coherence), Science open days (Vignanotsav) and regular seminars. Was a student volunteer with SPIC MACAY, Hyderabad Chapter, University of Hyderabad Sub-Chapter, for the organisation of Yamini (Annual cultural programme). Part of Bengali community in the University, took part in cultural programs actively by singing. Pursued 5 year Integrated Masters in Systems Biology. Course focus: Biology with added skills of Programming, Model based Integrated approach towards problems. This program inculcated Problem Solving Skills and encouraged an open mindset towards knowledge in general, meaning I do not shy away from learning new skills from completely different backgrounds.

The theme for this year was “Emerging Infectious Diseases and Therapeutic Strategies”. I got a Best Mini Oral Presentation Award for my presentation Titled "Neem leaf extract diminishes the chaperone function of an important small heat shock protein of Mycobacterium leprae"
