Jul 2008 - Apr 2015Responsible for managing at the pinnacle a team of six Oldcastle Materials IT Team members with a business footprint of fifteen states.• Managed and oversaw 1900 end users within the Divisions support applications, hardware, network installations, and VoIP conversions.• Oversaw and coordinated seven acquisitions and ensured transitions of point of sales information, computer information, domains, email transfer and network connectivity to the Oldcastle Materials network were seamless.• Led meetings with Division purchasing and controllers to streamline IT equipment ordering process incorporating existing buying process. Developed standard requisition form to be used and ensured process was seamless for all parties while ensuring transparency through the process.• Oversaw, managed, or allowed my direct reports to manage twelve office moves throughout the Divisions.• Led my team to convert thirty-one MPLS network connections at locations to internet connections resulting in monthly reoccurring savings of $15,000.• Developed, documented, and standardized process for my team simplifying previous processes of employee separations. Coordinated meetings with all Division HR to ensure the process was consistent. Worked with HR to determine employee ID’s for all 1900 Active Directory accounts ensuring the correct account would be deleted based on weekly report received.• Organized and managed a point of sales upgrade of one Regions main point of sales software, Apex. Coordinated with the business and the vendor upgrade dates and time for the server and forty-five plant locations. The upgrade consisted of upgrading computers or computer memory, migrating server information from the old server to the new server, backing up related databases and computer files, creating a customized and SQL installation process, upgrading the software, while ensuring data and ticket numbers were accurate on the plant computer and server with no disruption to the business. Ensured enough network bandwidth was available at offices prior to the installation, verified with phone companies the PRI was ready phone numbers were ported over, ensured power over ethernet switches were correctly configured, and computers had ShoreTel Communicator installed on computers prior to the evening phone conversions..• Converted twenty-five existing aggregate locations to electronic ticket and capture electronic signatures. This process lead to reducing printing and paper costs and eliminating transporting physical tickets. The electronic ticket and signature capturing for tickets is now actively implemented nationally at many Oldcastle Materials plants and ticket images are automatically archived in OnBase.• Project Lead of an Oldcastle Materials IT Team of eight selected to evaluate and determine a mobile device management, MDM, vendor in four months. Organized and led meetings with the team, vendors, and Strategic Sourcing Manager to discuss products and licensing costs. Ultimately presented three vendors to the CIO and then led final meetings with the CIO and vendor representatives selecting a MDM vendor for the enterprise.• Organized and led OMG Midwest’s office move, ShoreTel VoIP installation, and server move to the new Oldcastle Materials data center in Ft. Mill, SC over Labor Day weekend. Twenty-five physical servers and NetApps were transported to Ft. Mill from Iowa. Twelve other physical servers were moved to the new office on a new network subnet. The network, wireless, servers and applications, phones, an electronic fax solution, and printers were available and functional the Tuesday following the office and server move at the new location.• Managed and led two OMG Midwest acquisitions.
