Rang has been enthralling live audiences since 2008, and we have been churning out work for Movies, Jingles, Short films, Musical scores and Live Music. We are best known for our critically acclaimed work, interfused with some trademark re-arrangements of mainstream film songs.Acclaim and Recent PerformancesRang has been performing at the “Revival of music at Bandstands” Project organized by Bombay Elektrik project, “Thespo” at Prithvi Theatre (2009-2011), Funny Rock at The Comedy Store, B-69, Celebrate Bandra, and worked with Brands such as NDTV, MTV and Coke Studio (LeapFrog Series). Rang has also been called in to enthrall several corporate brands at their events, such as HDFC, Axis Bank, Mahindra Holidays, and Directi (BigRock) to name a few.Rang was awarded the “Judges choice” award in the TOTO Fund for Music Awards, a Nationwide Band hunt organized by Counter Culture Records in 2009. Since then, there’s been no looking back. Rang were declared winner’s of the LensFlare Earth Anthem event in 2012, adjudged by Music Director Shantanu Moitra. Most recently, Winners of “MTV RayBan Never Hide Sounds”(Popular) in October 2013, culminating in a performance with Playback singer Shilpa Rao at Hard Rock Café, Delhi. Rang will be performing at the grand Finale for MTV, along with other mentors of the event such as Raghu Dixit, Benny Dayal and Uday Benegal.Rang has performed for the 30,000 dream runners at the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon the last two years. College circuits have been dancing to Rang’s tunes since their inception, with IIT(Powai), St. Xavier’s, NM College, SIES, Watumull, KJ Somaiyah, Jai Hindi College, and Wilsons College to name a few. Rang has also done the rounds on Radio stations like Radio City, Radio Mirchi, Fever 104 FM and Jago Mumbai - making quite an impression on the masses. Show less

After an online audition which received over a hundred entries, Shlomo and MC Testament short-listed the top-16 candidates. A month later, after a 7-day long workshop conducted by MC Testament at British Council, Mumbai, the top-16 were narrowed down to 8 members who went on to form India's first All-Vocal ensemble, Voctronica.Voctronica consists of beat-boxers, Indian Classical, Pop, Blues and Rock vocalists who collectively bring to you the real power of the Human Voice. No Instruments.
