Responsible to lead and motivate the post-order organization of Eaton’s Engineered Systems and Solutions (ESS) business in EMEA. The Post Order team is the Customer’s single point of contact during the execution phase of the project. We are responsible for creating engineered solutions that satisfies the customer’s requirements, while optimizing project profitability. This organization comprises of project management, order management, customer order engineering and planning teams (106 people).I relocated from South Africa to the Netherlands for the role and interacted with the local workers council to create the new structure. The focus was to break down silos and drive collaboration. The improvements were enabled by creating autonomous value stream teams, focused on end-to-end performance with aligning key performance indicators. Show less Leading the operations team (180 FTE) to produce low and medium voltage switchgear, industrial transformer based uninterrupted power supply (UPS) units, dry type transformers, belt trip switches and integrated and containerized solutions. In this role I was responsible for creating an operational strategy in line with regional and global key objectives. P&L responsible for the manufacturing portion of the business. Gained experience on Eaton Business System and Operational Assessment as well as various Labour Union topics.
