      Girl Scout Gold Award Girl Scouts of the USA For my Girl Scout Gold Award, I decided to create an age appropriate presentation for kids born in my generation on the events and impact of September 11th, 2001. As the daughter of a first-responding firefighter, I found this to be a passion-project, as I was able to tell my father’s, along with several other survivors stories, and further educate my peers who were born post-2001.
