Their primary responsibility is theperformance and/or monitoring and oversight of all maintenance activities performed on company aircraft in, or at, maintenance vendor facilities.Duties and Responsibilitiesa) Monitor that assigned vendor/contract personnel follow company policies and procedures which may apply during a company aircraft maintenance visit.b) Ensure the company’s standards of quality and timely completion of work is upheld.c) Ensure vendor/contract personnel comply with manufacturer’s procedures, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and accepted industry practices.d) Ensures each assigned vendor and/or company employee is safety conscious and is aware of, andfollows, safe work practices and habits.e) Approve work cards and/or packages assigned to employees or contractors.f) Representatives are required to sign for their own work and may be required to sign for work of others under his supervision.(1) Such signing shall not relieve any other member of the crew from the responsibility for the work heperformed or from being required to sign appropriate work records.g) Ensure that all forms and documents are properly completed prior to aircraft release.h) Coordinate with Maintenance Control to assure effective scheduling and that all Maintenance functions are accomplished within the established time limits, and policy requirements.i) Ensure that Company aircraft are not dispatched on flights that could exceed Inspection “Due Time” in accordance with the CAMP.j) Monitor aircraft maintenance logbooks for pilot reports and any open DMI’s (MEL, CDL, NEF) or otherrestrictive items.k) Responsible for the control, revision and protection of assigned company manuals and their content.j) Maintain an adequate supply of commonly used hand tools to perform maintenance on companyaircraft.k) Perform other duties as assigned by DOM.
