      I manage every aspect of the laboratory, including training, ordering, protocol writing, etc. I also am very experienced in a wide variety of laboratory procedures and have special expertise is developing new cell lines from primary tumors and xenografts.

      I am currently the lab manager of an ovarian cancer research laboratory. My responsibilities include the development of ovarian cancer cell lines from xenografts of patient samples and of various tumor model systems, as well as the development of ovarian cancer transgenic mouse models. I am the xenograft core manager for a pancreatic cancer laboratory and am responsible for the implantation and development of xenograft tumors, the development of cell lines, and the characterization of these samples to enhance our understanding of this disease. We will then use these samples in various drug studies and other experiments to broaden our knowledge of the mechanisms of pancreatic tumor growth in patients.
