  Completed hundreds of development projects ranging from 10 to 200 hours of development.o The complete Software Development Life-cycle was utilized for all development projects,including analysis of clinical, business, and data-flow requirements, technical and logical(workflow/data-flow) designs, writing the code, testing the new interfaces/functionality,creating user friendly documentation, deploying the projects in productionenvironments, and maintaining the new functionality once live (i.e. ensuring continuedfunction after major upgrades).o Frequently responsible for ensuring that the development done by others was complete, functional,and efficient (programmer quality assurance / PQA) before being released.Implemented many clinical and practice management interfaces with a wide variety of different vendors:o Worked with customers to define business requirements.o Completed the analysis necessary to determine which interfaces and interface configurationswere needed to satisfy the defined business requirements.o Managed the project from start to finish, making sure that all milestones were met and thatthe interfaces went live on time and without issues.o Leveraged networking (i.e. TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP(S), SMTP) technology to implement newinterfaces across multiple environments and operating systems, including UNIX (AIX),Windows, and Linux.Directly supported/maintained more than 400 HL7 interfaces in production environments across 10different customer sites.Managed and completed ~20 upgrades for several different customer sites.Became an expert in Lab/Radiology Results, Registration/ADT, Vaccination Administration/Query, andNCPDP Pharmacy Orders/Refills interfaces (SureScripts).All of the above was completed with little/no supervision, while always closely following generalprocesses defined by Epic, or more specific processes defined by the interface division.   Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and customer application teams to complete all stages of implementation for Velocity's customers' interfaces, including (but not limited to) Radiology, ePrescribing, Registration/ADT, Billing, Pharmacy/ADS, Vaccination Administration, Device Data, Documentation Flowsheet, HIE, Radiation Oncology, and Eligibility interfacesSupport/maintain customers' live interfaces.o Work with Velocity and customer application teams to resolve issues reported byend-users and automated monitoring tools.o Proactively monitor and resolve interface errors in Cloverleaf and Epic Bridges.o Review upgrade/update documentation and prepare interfaces for new versions of Epicand ancillary vendor applications.Complete customers' Ongoing/Future implementation projects.o Work with Velocity, vendors, and customer application teams to complete all stages ofinterface implementation for any new projects, includingintegrating Epic and/or Cloverleaf with new ancillary systems, major upgrades of Epicand other applications in use at the hospitals/clinics, and modifying existing interfaces to meetnew requirements (such as Meaningful Use).o Complete large scale data conversions involving many different file formats (i.e. SQL, CCD/XML, HL7, etc).
