      Development of an Arduino based, PID controlled laser diode driver for a modular printed electronics prototype system. The tool will be used for laser sintering printed materials. The project involved development of the drive circuitry to power the diode, developing the software to power the laser diode using the Arduino micro-controller and integration of the developed software and hardware into the printed electronics system. At the end of the 10 week internship, full integration of the laser diode tool to the custom user interface was achieved. Show less
