  In this position, I am able to utilize my peer-relationship skills by collaborating interdepartmentally with other faculty members in the design and rollout of relevant curriculum. In my role within the Education field, establishing partnerships with parents/families is absolutely crucial. I pride myself in my ability to gain those relationships, which results in greater parent involvement and overall student success within the classroom. I have mastered a multitude of associated teaching methodologies and processes, and currently utilize the Responsive Classroom Approach while teaching Math and English to students in the 2nd grade.
