Through determination and perseverance, I not only achieved sobriety but also found a renewed sense of purpose and direction. Within the Army Reserves, I quickly rose through the ranks, reaching the position of E4 in a short span. This acceleration was a testament to my dedication, exceptional performance, I acquired during my service. The ability to recruit three individuals and secure a promotion three months ahead of schedule reflects not only my commitment to excellence but also my capacity to inspire and lead others. As an E4 in the Army Reserves, I honed various skills that are integral to military service. Proficiency in physical fitness, demonstrated through improvements in sit-ups, push-ups, and the 2 mile run, showcased my commitment to maintaining and enhancing the physical readiness required in the military. Additionally, my experience in Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC, and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) as a 92G at Fort Lee, VA, equipped me with the technical expertise essential to my role as a soldier. While my military journey was marked by significant personal and professional growth, it was not without its challenges. I faced the harrowing issue of sexual harassment, a dark aspect that has made it difficult for me to openly discuss. However, it is crucial to acknowledge the resilience and strength it took to navigate through such adversity, highlighting the need for continued efforts to eradicate such behavior within the armed forces. One of the proudest moments of my military career was the receipt of the Squad Leadership Award. This accolade underscored my ability to lead and inspire my peers, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork within the unit. Working behind the scenes, I gained insights into the intricacies of the entertainment industry, particularly the dynamics of VH1s Love & Hip - Hop series. This experience served as a springboard for securing my initial entertainment gigs, marking a pivotal moment in my professional journey.Notably, Show Palace's prominence transcended its live performances, as the establishment later played a significant role in the film 'Hustlers.'
