      Cashier

As a cashier, I would check guests out quickly, and solve any problems that came up during the transactions. I would make sure that the guests are happy and fulfilled after their shopping experience. Sometimes, we would help the floor members with stocking closer to where the registers were in between customers to make sure that we stayed busy. We would always welcome our customers in with a smile, and say thank you as they left.

      Hostess

As a hostess, I would efficiently and quickly seat guests while making sure that they did not have any quick questions about the menu before their server came to take care of them. I managed the wait list so that we would not have upset guests that had been waiting too long, and made sure that the guest experience was always great. I would prepare plates with napkins and chopsticks, carry large stacks of plates from the back to the front of the restaurant, and make sure that my station was always clean and ready to go to seat the next guests. I would always welcome them in with a nice smile, and make sure they were thanked as they left. Show less

      Mixologist/Manager

As a mixologist, I was expected to learn all of the drinks in a quick and timely manner, as well as be able to input them into our register system correctly and efficiently. I would always make sure that my beverages were held up to a high standard and made according to the recipes given. My last 5 months with the company were in a manager position, and I gained a lot of responsibility and knowledge from this position. Here I learned how to hire candidates and conduct interviews, manage inventory and orders week to week, train new mixologists quickly and efficiently, and work well with my manager as well as my other team members to foster a great work environment. Floor Member

As a floor member, my main job was to restock the shelves on the sales floor. I would breakdown pallets quickly, and be able to sort them efficiently to where it would be easier later on to stock. I worked well with my other team members to get the job done, and I would help customers with finding items all around the store. Every now and then, I would help the register members with checking people out.

    • Starbucks

      Dec 2020 - now

As a barista, I make sure every customer is welcome into our store, and I make sure that each and every person has a smile on their face as they walk out with their beverages and food. Delivering the Starbucks experience as a barista has been one of my favorite things because you get to make sure every customer has an amazing experience and an amazing beverage. I made sure that beverages were prepared in a timely manner, and worked well with my fellow partners to foster a great environment. I would take orders efficiently and be able to quickly help out with anything that my fellow partners needed me to do. Interacting with customers is also another skill that I enjoy and is very crucial to working at Starbucks to foster the best customer experience I could as a barista. Show less As a shift supervisor at Starbucks, my number one priority is to make sure that the customers are always welcomed and to make sure that their customer experience is outstanding every single time. Creating that customer experience with every customer is very important, and I believe that I foster a great environment for my customers as well as my fellow partners. I make sure that the store has enough food and product for the next days to come, as well as run breaks in a timely manner and ensure that everyone on shift has a great shift. I work well with my shift team to further foster a great learning and training environment, and we all work together to make sure that the store runs smoothly, and everyone is happy. Show less
