  For 7 years I enjoyed being a second photographer to an award-winning SunshineCoast wedding photographer, Nicky Stone from Pomegranate Photography. This gave me a great understanding of the profession and offered an ideal environment to enhance my technical skills as well as develop important people skills. Our images were featured in popular bridal magazines and blogs.

  Boleh Logo offers customized marketing solutions with their wide range of outdoor products. As the graphic designer, I was responsible for working with the client to produce artwork which reflected their brand effectively and maximised their exposure. The Marquee and Banner product range was the most popular, which involved designing for large scale print, giving me an introduction to pre-press.Our biggest customers included the Royal Flying Doctors Service, Bendigo Bank and Toyota.   ASA is quickly revolutionizing Biometric Security technology in Australia. As a manufacturer of cutting-edge fingerprint locks and safes, there has been a need for exposing the value that these systems offer. I had the opportunity to create their first product catalogue from concept to print production. I was also involved in designing a new logo and matching stationery when the business name changed. This has given me invaluable re-branding experience.My role as graphic designer extended to include multimedia work on their promotional web videos which involved capturing footage, editing existing footage and recording studio voice-overs before producing a completed web video series. In their busy periods, I did freelance design work to help with the overflow. Being involved in a professional studio environment gave me great insight into the industry processes involved and experience in dealing with a range of clients.   As the Senior Graphic Designer, I was responsible for the design and layout of artwork printed on the entire range of outdoor promotional products such as printed marquees, banners, cafe umbrellas, fence mesh and more.This involved preparing design proofs from customer briefs, following brand styleguides when required. Our portfolio of customers included McDonald’s, Ray White, Cricket Australia and Commonwealth Bank. I had a solid understanding of pre-press as I liaised with local and overseas suppliers to provide final print artwork.My role included design for marketing material, from brochures and catalogues to client proposals and presentations. I designed product instruction and specification documents for a range of products. I was involved in New Product Development and the management of custom requirements. I managed the direct and email marketing campaigns.Administrative duties included tracking orders, scheduling and managing deadlines, coordinating projects and collating supplier invoicing. I was also responsible for photography of products and file management. I was responsible for the rollout of an online purchasing portal for a selection of products.Our client base consisted of Corporates (including McDonald's, Ray White, Surf Life Saving Qld, Schweppes, Commonwealth Bank, Parmalat among others), Government Organisations, Small Businesses, Universities & Schools.
