I assist my lab Pi to conduct his lab research. In this lab we are exploring the mutualistic relationship that exists between sepiolid squids (Mollusca: Cephalopodan) and the Vibrio symbionts that live inside them. This relationship provides a versatile and experimentally manageable model system for studying the diversity and population dynamics of the bacterial species.
