    • Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel

      Aug 2013 - Aug 2014
      UN Division Intern

In this fellowship I worked closely with the “Arbel” division, related to Israel’s relations with international organizations and the United Nations. There I framed official documents to the UN on behalf of Israel and translated legal documents. I also served as a policy adviser and researched legal cases. A large portion of the position was to report my independent research and findings to meetings with senior officials of the ministry. I also administrated one of the ministry’s official Facebook pages called ‘Green Israel’. I place emphasis on this project because it exposed me to Israel’s relations with underprivileged nations in order to export Israel’s advanced sustainable innovations. In this role I was required to research and study Israel’s approach to development within its borders and abroad, especially when cooperating with NGOs and nations in need of fundamental necessities. Ongoing projects that I assisted to jump-start deal with the introduction of new medical innovations, educational systems and staff, and sustainable technology such as water irrigation systems, solar panels and more to Uganda, Tanzania, and Ethiopia. I continued to put my journalism experience into use by publishing a couple of articles to the Israeli press regarding Israel’s development projects abroad. Show less

    • The Borgen Project

      Sept 2014 - Sept 2015
      Foreign Policy Advocate

The Borgen Project is an innovative national campaign that strives to raise awareness on global poverty by making the cause a strong focus of the United States' foreign policy. Forming and coordinating regional fundraisers and campaigns to earn the attention of senators and government officials were major responsibilities I carried. Conducting research on key contributors to poverty worldwide, allowed me to present sufficient material and data in my meetings, letters, and phone calls to senators and members of the House of Representatives.
