Ajmal Fawad

About me

A staunch follower of "creative thinking" and "proactive working". Dr Fawad is a Graduate in Science and has a Doctorate in Management Studies in International Business, has over 15 years of rich experience in international relation, trade and investment promotion, project management, sales and marketing. He has headed the North India office of VDMA - German Engineering Federation. He is currently representing the International Department of Confederation of Indian Industry as the Deputy Director and is responsible for enhancing Indian business relations with Africa. Additionally also leading the country hub for the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) in India as part of CII, with special focus on Africa. He has been accorded the Europe India Top 40 Under 40 Leadership award for his contribution in the India Europe corridor. He has delivered presentation on “Indo German Cooperation in Mining Machinery Sector” at ICC Minetech in 2019 & 2020. Conceptualised and organized German pavilions at CII IMME 2016, 2018 & 2020. He has been featured through interviews and engineering articles in various renowned publications, including Machine Maker in 2023, Construction Business Today in 2022, Construction Times in 2020, Equipment Times in 2018 and NBM&CW in 2016. He has been successfully organizing foreign delegations, technical seminars, joint booths in exhibitions, newsletters and publications. He regularly writes and contributes interviews and articles in engineering journals and magazines.
