      Drafted Communications and Outreach Strategy for the World Bank in Cameroon aims to:(i) Increase understanding and awareness among various external constituencies of the work of the Bank, including processes and results/impact from investments;(ii) Improve the visibility of the Bank’s work in Cameroon;(iii) Make (Bank-generated) knowledge and information more readily available and accessible to the wider population (analytical work and data available through the Open Data Initiative). Through increased access to knowledge and information, the Bank will also contribute to strengthening the demand side for governance;(iv) Improve the image of the Bank in Cameroon and establish the World Bank office in Yaoundé as a contributing member to the local community. (v) Organize field visits with the media and the visiting missions.(vi) Focal Point for YDP (Youth Development and Peace) Network.(vii) Focal Point for CSO (Civil Society Organization) Grant Program.(viii) Draft speeches, interview protocols, communiques/announcements, articles, etc..(ix) Conduct interviews.(x( Carry out field visits.(xi) Coordinate street children partnership (PARRER) in Senegal.My journey at the World Bank Cameroon Country Office was especially marked by the creation of 3 positions that were before centralized at corporate level in Washington, DC: Disbursement, Procurement and External Affairs with 3 big components: Information, Communications/Outreach and Public Relations later changed into Strategic Communications.
