  In April 2013, Mr Blatt retired after 36 years as the Chief Financial Officer/Controller of Chicken of the Sea International. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Blatt began his business career in 1976 within the global “branded” tuna/seafood industry. He joined Chicken of the Sea (a Ralston Purina company) where he held various accounting/finance positions at canneries in California and Puerto Rico, plus at the corporate headquarters in St Louis, Mo. Under new ownership, in 1999 was promoted to Chief Financial Officer/Controller. Additionally, he led various global and restructuring teams in other industries for his parent company. Show less

  At the beginning of 2014, Mr Blatt decided to re-enter the Corporate Finance Management arena as a consultant. He joined Joe Pucci and Sons Seafoods, Inc., one of the largest fresh and frozen seafood distributors in the San Francisco Bay area. His role on an interim and part time basis is as their Acting CFO and Controller. His primary duties are to assist the company in clarifying its growth strategy and direct the Accounting and Finance departments.
