  The Austin Track Club is a team of aspiring middle-distance runners in Austin, TX. Since our founding in 2011 we have dedicated ourselves to creating the future of American track & field: athletically, commercially and in our community. Our athletes come from all over the United States - and, increasingly, from outside the US - to live, train and work in Austin. We compete in track meets across Texas, the US and Canada, where our red & black jerseys attract new fans, new recruits and new partners in our vision for the sport. In every year of our history we have had at least one athlete compete in his or her national championship meet.As active members of Austin's sports scene we are regularly sought out for our expertise by youth training groups, sports technology & performance startups and sports business organizations. The Austin Track Club is actively partnered with Skechers Performance, Zensah, BioSteel and 1080 Motion.   As a Fundraising and Events Specialist for Team LIVESTRONG I worked to support our event participants and helped them achieve their fundraising goals through creative and innovative solutions. In this role, I focused on recruitment, support, and stewardship of those associated with our mission to help deepen their level of engagement and loyalty to our cause and brand.The LIVESTRONG Foundation fights to improve the lives of people affected by cancer now. Created in 1997, the Foundation is known for providing free cancer support services and advocating for policies that improve access to care and quality of life. Known for its powerful brand – LIVESTRONG – the Foundation has become a symbol of hope and inspiration around the world. Since its inception, the Foundation has served 2.5 million people affected by the disease and raised more than $500 million to support cancer survivors. One of America's top non-profit organizations, the Foundation has been recognized for its excellent governance, high standards and transparency.
