      • Responsible for running and providing information from the CWGC’s electronic document and records management system (HP Content Manager) and supervising the distribution of records work received from the public via the CWGC’s Salesforce (CRM) enquiries system.• Line manager and mentor to a team of five staff responsible for handling all requests from the public to amend CWGC casualty information, for sensitively assessing requests to have additional deaths added to the CWGC records , for ensuring headstone inscriptions are compiled according to CWGC guidelines and in accordance with the wishes of the families, and for helping the public understand more about the casualty information held.• Go to person for information about CWGC records, policies and guidelines. Show less • Responsible for developing contacts with non-Commonwealth war grave organizations and creating opportunities to share information about their casualties buried in CWGC cemeteries.• Led a team of four that compiled the headstone inscriptions and part of the development team that created a new headstone ordering and manufacturing system based on the CRM platform, Microsoft Dynamics. Provided the liaison between the cemetery inspection teams and the CWGC’s manufacturing facility, to ensure any issues were resolved promptly and the whole process ran smoothly.• Member of the CWGC’s Policy and Commemorations Group. In charge of the day-to-day running of the million pound plus project to create a digital archive of the CWGC’s 3.25 million casualty records (using the TOWER TRIM electronic document management software). Played a key role in shaping the system to meet the needs of the CWGC by influencing the direction its development took. Devised numerous enhancements to the original specification and took a leading role in negotiations with the contractors. Created and ran all the staff training on the new system.• Line manager for four staff who quality checked all the images and metadata and who assisted with the maintenance of the file archive, for instance cataloguing new file accessions.• Successfully transferred of the CWGC’s archive file catalogue into a new File Tracker system and initiated the creation of word searchable copies of the CWGC’s Commission Meeting minutes archive. • Member of the CWGC's publicity team, creating and presenting presentations and providing expert advice to the public at family history shows and commemorative events. In charge of five French Staff with duties that included sourcing replacement vehicles (vans for mobile teams and cars for supervising officials), overseeing the vehicle maintenance program (oversaw the implementation of a new computerized record system), purchasing office equipment, rolling out a new office IT network and dealing with enquiries from the public. Served as the CWGC’s Deputy Exhumation Officer in France. Undertook historical research to assist with the identification new discoveries of remains and helped coordinate re-interment services.
