All Vessel Planning and Yard Planning activities are based on my Berthing Plans.   Reporting to the Operations Manager, my role is to control and co-ordinate the day-to-day activities within the Base and ensure that the Base operates to its optimum potential.To ensure the Operational personnel conduct their duties in accordance with company safety practices and regulations.To ensure supervision and planning in the Base with regard to operations.Ensure smooth operations on all Ships/Barges/Tug Boats/Off-Shore Supply Vessels/Jetty/Yards and the Warehouses.Responsible for deployment and optimum utilization of Manpower and Equipment.To liaise with Clients/Shipping Agents/Customs Officers/Coast Guard/Port Authorities on Operational and Marine matters. Preparing the Operations daily & periodic activities reports.Plan berthing and sailing of Ships/Barges/Tug Boats and Off-Shore Supply Vessels to enable swift turnaround.I have 2 Operations Supervisors, 1 Maintenance Supervisor, 1 Marine Supervisor and 2 Dispatchers reporting to me and the total number of heads under them is about 120 personnel.
