  I worked on the frontend and backend of the web app used to communicate with on-site panels. Frontend improvements included adding live panel status symbols, while backend changes included optimizing the database for faster queries and adding different user types.I also worked with the Raspberry Pi's and PLC's in the panels, improving communication between the RPi and web server, as well as adding safety features to the PLC logic. I implemented remote software updates for the code running on both the RPi's and PLC's, saving hours in technician time from having to manually travel to each site and update the software through a local connection.
