  KAHRAMAA has the privilege of being the sole transmission and distribution system owner and operator (TDSOO) for the electricity and water sector in Qatar. State-owned utility Qatar General Water & Electricity Corporation (KAHRAMAA) had awarded Siemens the largest contract to-date in Qatar for the expansion of the country's power transmission network.Responsibilities:Accomplished projects for KAHRAMAA Electricity 132/66/11KV substation buildings. • Achieved 80% of structural drawing to As Built status from EPE by reviewing drawings from subcontractors GCC and Galfar and giving apptable replay to the comments within the time provided.Material approvals and inspections as per project specification (QA/QC)• Successfully cut down BBS cost by 30 % of the original estimation for Phase 11 ,132/11 kV Al WUKAIR , RAS ABU ABBOUD substation and Phase 12,66/11kV AL BAHYA ,ALTHUMAMA substation by manually eliminating unnecessary bars as per the specification code.• Achieved 80% progress in site constructions which was on hold for contractual errors by performing site inspections activities to ensured quality and safety compliance as per project specifications and in coordination with safety department. Recommended strategies to keep projects on track• Accomplished projects on time by conducting bi-weekly review meetings with planning department about contractor’s Extension of Time (EOT) claim and requested contractors to submit drawings for AS built status.• Knowledge of procurement, contracts, project management basics and handled MOM preparation, maintained archival records & database systems. عرض أقل
