  Bangkok Prep Secondary Division was started with only three teachers. As a foundation and pioneer member this required a range of skills and aptitude to develop the secondary school as a whole not just the Science and Mathematics departments. Numerous new programmes were fully developed and the secondary grew exponentially over several years.

  As a senior leader and founding member of the new school it was my role to develop the curriculum and morale of the staff. Acting as liaison between students, teachers and parents in making sure that the school headed in the right direction to start as a premier boarding school for Chengdu and especially that the foundation subjects were initiated and developed to match Edexcel requirements.

  This well established German and International school required developing a brand new campus along the lines of modern European open study plans and required a dynamic and creative approach to strongly upgrade the existing structures. In this time both an expansion to Key Stage V and the IB curriculum was implemented following the accreditation of the school from the IBO. Numerous programmes especially EAL and CAS were focus areas and improved parental relations were developed in this time.
