My role involved negotiating with suppliers on price and lead-times, tracking purchases from order placement to delivery and making sure they were on time and per spec. Outside of this I worked with the warehouse team on inventory management.

      I bring technical support and customer support together to resolve highly impactful issues at the customer site. This brings high expectations and high visibility at senior management within the customer organisation and within Dell EMC. I'm expected to provide an innovative approach to escalation resolution and manage the efforts to bring about customer satisfaction. It's an exciting role with a lot responsibly, no 2 days are ever the same. My job and that of my team was to Build Partnerships, Develop Connections and Provide Innovative process improvements. We supported the Sales Operations function. We enabled the different groups within Sales Operations to improve their process; by not just looking at the obvious but pushing to see what could be done to make a profound and long lasting impact. We were a small global support team that tripled in size over the 6 years that I was in this role. As my role expanded I got the chance to travel to Cairo twice to train new team mates which was a wonderful experience. I became a point for escalation support for my team mates. From time to time I was brought in as a participant on process improvement projects and this led to my current role.
