Became the the top General Manager at 125% of targets in the first 5 months of the fiscal year, with customer commitments that ranked the region at 146% of YTD target at the end of October '01. Responsible for the top 2 performing Sales Districts in the country which produced 44% of Fujitsu's YTD bookings and responsible for the Cleveland Branch becoming "Branch of the Year" out of 18 branches in 2000. Altura was the surviving company that resulted from Japan shutting down the sales of Fujitsu's F9600 Telecom switches in the United States and was created to maintain the vast number of long-term maintenance contracts that still existed, some of them for periods as long as 10 Years. Altura partnered with Avaya to create a unique network API that allowed customers to migrate from the F9600's to Avaya's IP technology in stages as opposed to complete replacement of entire switches to get into the newer technologies cost effectively.
