  Building upon my experience of framework pre-construction and bidding activities I joined the newly formed Best Practice and Framework Bid Strategy department. In the infancy of the department I worked closely with the Department Director to develop and create processes and systems to achieve the objectives of the department, including; the structure of storing and sharing group-wide best practice, implementing a network of Regional Champions across Kier, and communicating the department business strategy and aims with Regional Directors and wider Kier staff. My responsibilities include bid support on national and regional framework bids, where my role includes; bid management and coordination, answer planning, writing, editing, and reviewing. Over the last three years I have been involved in a number of successful framework bids including; • ProCure22 Framework• South West Wales Regional Contractor Framework• Gatwick Construction Works Framework• Scape Minor Works National Framework (£1.5bn) • South and Mid Wales Collaborative Construction Framework SEWSCAP2 (£500m over 5 Lots) • Hampshire Intermediate Framework (£400m) • Southern Construction Framework (£5bn over 3 Lots) • EFA Regional bids (£5bn over 6 Lots) To improve bid efficiency across Kier, I have led the development and implementation of an online system, The Evidence Database, on which to collect and share best practice throughout the whole of the construction division, this has included;- development of a group standard project data sheet and best practice ‘evidence bite’ collection form - development of a methodology for the review of Group processes and procedures in response to frequent bid question topics- specifying and managing the development and successful implementing of a new company wide IT solution to store and share best practice and project information to reduce the time spent searching for relevant evidence for use in bids Show less
