  Designed and Implemented Embedded System Software for an MPEG2, VxWorks Power PC, MPEG2, Video, Audio and Data Communications Encoder System. Performed Software Quality testing, audio & video, of an entire product line of MPEG2 Integrated Receiver Decoders (IRD), ATM networks, participated in the software release process of the product and performed continuous product improvement thru quality testing. Performed audio testing of the IRD product line using MPEG2, AC3 and Dolby. Utilized HP Open View to test SNMP functionality, R/W, of the decoder and ATM’s system’s management interface. Performed System Integration testing of the decoders in Standard and High Definition television (SDTV/HDTV) configurations. This includes performance/benchmark testing to both the NTSC/PAL standards and the competitor’s decoder products, COTS. Performed RF QPSK quality testing on the NewTech/Conexant tuner assembly and IRD products using both manual procedures and generated Script files. Assisted production in DRAM specification & location of critical components utilized on the Encoder assembly thus meeting shipments. Performed SNMP driver network & RS232 testing of the various product lines. Produced System and Design Verification Test Procedures documentation used for regression testing of the product line.
