  Working alongside a senior Investment Director, I co-manage around 100 multi-asset portfolios, which are split up into SIPPs, Trusts, taxable and ISA accounts, across both individual clients and larger family groups - These are split between onshore and offshore portfolios. On the research side, whilst all managers in the firm are generalists, in addition to this my own focus is on global technology funds and companies.We have been supplying investment services for private clients, family trusts, charities, pension funds and professional advisers since our inception in 2004. At the core of our business is that each client is different, and this should be reflected in how we manage their investments. We believe that trust, a personal touch and the ability to respond to individual requirements are of vital importance to clients. As a company, we have a structure in place whereby each client always has two investment managers working on thier portfolio, which helps us to avoid the alienation and distancing from advisers that can be felt by clients of larger firms. Show less Project managed an internal systems project which involved upgrading the firm's portfolio and client management system, which also involves working on integrating this system into the firm's custodian/back office. Assisted Investment Managers on day to day tasks, portfolio maintenance and portfolio analysis. Running performance outliers reports – checking portfolio performance is line with mean returns across the firm. Portfolio reconciliation/ measurement – this includes building relationships with third party providers.Wrote research notes across a range of sectors and industries. Also produced research notes for investment managers covering: Global airline leasing funds; US/UK equity funds; property funds. Also complete continual research into AIM listed equities and infrastructure funds. Other responsibilities included:Handling telephone enquiries from clients and third parties.Involved in the marketing of the firm through creating presentations, organising meetings and building relationships with intermediaries. Show less Developed the first version of an internal research matrix for the firm, helping to categorise firm holdings and thus aiding Investment Managers with their portfolio construction across different risk mandates. Wrote research notes on AIM listed companies that were being considered for specialised IHT portfolio within the firm, and was involved in its day to day monitoring. Other responsibilities include:Generated liquidity reports for investment managers, checking appropriate cash balances and portfolio asset allocation ideas as a result.
