Tom Hardy has worked in architecture since the day after graduating from U.C. Berkeley and has been a licensed architect since 1982. His first job was working for master architect Birge M. Clark, FAIA in Palo Alto, and he later worked for more than 15 years with Page & Turnbull in San Francisco, specializing in historic architecture projects. Tom is easily distracted by vintage Italian bicycles, antiquarian books, and old clocks. In keeping with his respect for history, belief in using things thoroughly, and ardor for Italian design, he drives a 50-year old Alfa Romeo. Tom is also the curator of the [virtual] Museum of Obsolete Drafting Technology. Show less
