  Euromed is the EU action programme set up to promote intercultural youth exchanges,volunteer service, and activities for youth workers between the countries of the EuroMediterranean Partnership.My responsibilities were to coordinate the EuroMed youth projects in partnership with international partners to promote intercultural and interfaith dialogue between the young people from the EU and Mediterranean countries. I worked in different roles, as a group leader, facilitator, trainer, and project administrator.We were the firts NGO in the Baltic States which implemented the EuroMed youth project in 2004.   Youth Guarantees project was designed to all young people aged 15-29 notengaged in employment, education or training.The responsible authority for the Youth Guarantee was the Ministry of Social Securityand Labour. Other actors involved included the Ministry of Education and Science, theMinistry of Economy, “Enterprise Lithuania” (a non-profit agency under the Ministry ofEconomy), Municipalities, NGOs and the Centre of Information Technologies inEducation. Since February 2016 inactive NEETs could also register (to theYEI-funded programme “Discover Yourself”) via 51 organisations (NGO, budgetaryinstitution). Route-4 was one of 51 partner organisations which implemented YG project in Panevezys city.My primary responsibilities were:The cross-directorial networking and partnership building with different organizations and institutions in Panevezys city to support inactive (not studying, not working) young people (NEET).- Search and identification of the needs of inactive young people.-Organisation of NEET services for young people (individual / group work, information, counseling, motivation, self-knowledge, social skills development services);- Mediation between an inactive NEET young person, an NGO, labor market, or the education system;- Empowering young people through local volunteering and internship;- Representation of the target group for the youth policy makers in Panevezys city Council;- Project administration in Panevezys city Show less My main responsibilities as the head of organisation were fundraising, development and strategic planning, team management and networking. We worked on youth empowerment through non-formal education, experiential learning, local and regional development, international cooperation, community work, volunteering, partnership building, team building activities, active participation and other activities. While working with different European and National programs and grants as an applicant and program user, I gained valuable practical experience. I was able to test and see the impact these programs make to a single participant, the local community, and all partners involved. Show less
