      2020 - 2021
      Certificate Quantum Computing

In collaboration with IBM. It consists of lectures, labs, and problem sets taught live by MIT and Oxford quantum scientists. Using Qiskit, Python and the IBM Quantum experience to learn the foundations of quantum computing.

    • University of Bristol

      2020 - 2021
MSc. Optoelectronics and Quantum Technologies Quantum Computing

Coursework includes Quantum Information Theory, Quantum Computation , Quantum Device Engineering and Quantum Physics.

  • Experience

    • Reflexis Systems, Inc.

      Jul 2018 - Sept 2020
      Software Developer

      • Developed a centralized spring-boot web application ‘Translation Manager’ which would unify all the modules' translations and support all types of ways for uploading translations such as properties, JSON, etc. Worked on Angular 6, Java 8, TypeScript as a part of this project.• Upgraded the existing RTM (Reflexis Task Manager) from JSP (Java Server Pages) framework to modular angular and spring boot application.• Automated web deployment of Translation Manager and RTM 2.0 using Jenkins pipeline. • KETS Quantum Security

      Feb 2021 - Oct 2021
      MSc. Industrial Project

Embedding QKD into protocols of OSI layers • The aim of this research project is to conduct a feasibility study of integrating QKD with standardized protocols used in their corresponding OSI layers.• Review and benchmark the use cases developed by conducting network emulation on hardware.

      • Developing and validating on-chip Continuous Variable Quantum Key Distribution(CV QKD) protocol on InP chips, integrating insights from prototype design for optimal performance. Conducted extensive validation tests on transmitter and receiver PICs. Potential to be the first-of-its-kind InP platform implementation of CV QKD protocol.• Designed and demonstrated a proof-of-concept CV QKD benchtop system utilising Gaussian Modulated Coherent State (GMCS) protocol. Oversaw system calibration, alignment, and integration of various optical and electronic components. This was the company’s first proof-of-concept demonstration of the CV QKD protocol.• Benchmarked the prototype with measured theoretical and experimental performance of the CV QKD benchtop setup at different transmission distances.• Developed a signal processing stack for modulation and demodulation of Gaussian modulated 64 QAM signals using Python for CV QKD protocol implementation. Implemented phase recovery schemes and designed Gaussian 64 QAM using the PCS (Probabilistic Constellation Shaping) algorithm.• Interacted with third parties and suppliers, including photonics and high-speed electronic vendors, to troubleshoot and solve core technical issues encountered during prototype design.• Contributing to documentation and reporting for internal teams as well as external stakeholders for the CV QKD protocol operation. Show less • Designed and validated setups for photonic components involved in the CV QKD prototype design. Worked with I/Q modulators, homodyne detectors, and single-mode lasers, conducting detailed characterization of optical components, performing system integration and testing.• Led the design and validation of setup high-speed electronic devices involved in the CV QKD protocol design. Worked with high-speed (> 2 GSPS) DACs, ADCs, and their EVMs, designed high-speed clocking solutions and performed hardware modifications for application-specific needs.• Collaborated with Software Engineers to develop and optimise the CV QKD post-processing stack. Constructed parameter estimation scripts in Python using experimental specifications identified during prototype design and collaborated on the design of error correction specific to protocol requirements.
