  Compiled a homeowners' manual and built an informational website on accessory dwelling units (ADUs) according to new local laws to educate the public about ADUs and how to build one. Worked closely with nonprofit and private industry partners to hold public information sessions in different parts of the community.Completed one-year AmeriCorps VISTA term and was hired full-time to continue project and fill other needs at the organization.Collaborated with other nonprofits, construction companies, local government, and media to construct and display a demo ADU at the State Capitol to bring awareness to the opportunity.
