      Feb 2020 - now
      Executive Director

I manage trail stewardship and conservation across the Transverse Range of California, from Point Conception to Ojai/Ventura. Our nonprofit manages 200 miles of trail on public land, 80 miles of trail within land conservancies and preserves, multiple habitat restorations, and advocacy for public access initiatives. With several thousand constituents including multiple forms of outdoor recreation, we are one of the largest stewardships in both physical range and affected population in Central/Southern California. For my initial calendar year I raised $650,000 from grants (federal, state and local), awards, donations, and contracts. From this I re-opened 20 miles of trail lost to wild fire, permitted and constructed 10 additional miles, and helped drive public land options in population centers lacking in outdoor equality.
