The group is responsible for overseeing and maintaining project support for SCE footprint. This accomplished streamlining internal process of how work is managed, updated, maintained and construction resources allocated. Created internal process and matrix to track projects and Telecom engineer work load. • Managed all Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Grid Project Portfolio of up $140,000,000 of Capital and non-capital monies.• Maintained project cost updates for 10 year Capital Budget Forecast by working closely with Corporate Finance, T&D Finance (Project Cost Estimators) and internal grid engineers. • Created a process by which planned, new, and last minute incoming work is received and distributed. This was accomplished by working in partnership with various T&D Groups and ensuring a successful front door process for incoming work. • Responsible for reviewing all new incoming work requests from various T&D departments and monitoring for possible need of Telecom project support. Worked closely with the various groups in T&D to define the scope and Telecom and project requirements not fully defined in the Blue book and/or ATP and plan next steps. • Overseeing all Grid projects in support of T&D while maintaining knowledge of all on-goings of a project to ensure client needs are met and Telecom was on track to meet projects timeline and budget. • Provide direction for engineer and MPO assistance/escalation (project meetings, execution, construction follow up, etc.).• Work closely with Major Project Office (MPO) as a conduit assisting in issue resolution for challenges and aggressive timelines in to meet project operating dates.• Assist and demonstrate to peers how to convey/communicate in meetings what is required/expectations to MPO on Major Grid Projects in progress.• Assist in strategy and decision making on significant project issues Show less • Act as a Program Manager for large-scale network projects of up to $15,000,000 from inception to completion.
