  Through Van-Eyk Marketing Solutions, which is part of the APPCO sales group, I was able to collaborate with the Special Olympics as a sales representative. Working as an independent contractor in sales and direct marketing taught me a fair bit of life skills which I will always be able to use during business interactions.Sales was, and still is, something I have a deep passion for due to comprehending the non-verbal and verbal communication strategies and its negotiations. Furthermore, I was able to personally understand while teaching others how to be expressive, confident, perceptive and above all, how to listen. Communication skills were key in this industry together with business storytelling. Due to a multilingual background, new words came to me quickly in different languages and it allowed me to able to greet in 14 different languages.   MaisonRouge is a people agency working with people on an interim contract. After my experiences working seasonally as a bartender in pubs, I found the opportunity to work in the catering and events sector through this company. I became a member of their event coordinator team allowing me to manage events with regard to the catering crew. During these events, I had to manage teams consisting of 5-60 crew members in order to ensure a successful event.   During my Erasmus+ semester in Switzerland, I was able to enrol into a consultancy program named Consulting Project International Management (CPIM) which is facilitated by Knowledge Transfer Unit WTT-FHS. This project enabled me to work with a team of 5 members in regard to qualitative and quantitative research. Our client was a global market leader in its respective industry. Although it did good in Switzerland, the company wanted to expand its focus. I had the opportunity leading the team on inorganic growth in order to manage the project efficiently together with the other project's scope, organic growth. In the light of inorganic growth, we opted to expand our business internationally and to search for competitors which we could acquire or collaborate with in order to expand our catchment area.
