  Leading a team of 3 people, completed IFRS/USGAAP audit projects of 35 enterprises within 2.5 years. Audited all core banking processes of 6 major Turkish banks. By going beyond minimum requirements, arrived at tens of many new findings. At credit audits of HSBC Bank at UK (London, Oxford, Essex), Kazakhstan (Almaty) and Malta, 6 of my findings appeared in the final reports.

Allocated time and human resources such that, in the end, all major financial risks could be audited at a reasonable level within deadline. These audits covered appr. 1 Billion USD worth of value at risk within finance, accounting, purchasing, human resources, IT and operations departments. By coordinating related departments, reduced bonus calculation from 4 hours to 30 minutes. -- Prepared cockpit charts covering the last 3 years in which KPI and financial ratio macro trends could be viewed.

  Milestone is a $110m (committed) TR-UK joint private equity fund. Here, I have;. Gained approval for four dorm investment proposals ($55m in total) to the Board, all executed in 2012. -- Answered all questions of International Finance Corporation (IFC) with respect to financial projections and current operations. Coordinated staff and facilitated communications where necessary. In the end, IFC joined in as 20% equity partner. -- In search for credit, I have prepared presentations and financial models for payback for banks. I have made sure that the documents requested arranged quickly and accurately. Result, Garanti Bank has lend TL40m as “project loan” (wo. collateral). -- Organized market research, analyzed the results and based on analysis, proposed pricing strategy to the Board, approved. -- Facilitated information flow such that independent audit processes completed on time and successfully. -- Controlled accounting records and month end closings regulary so that UFRS and legislation compliance in tact at all times. -- Audited budget analytically, proposed adjustments. In the end, a more realistic en of year profit target has been set. By regular monitoring of p&l and comparing with budget, I have made sure that end-of-year EBITDA targets are achieved. Show less

Here, I have; -- Via in depth technical analysis, among many candidates, pointed out those companies that can actually pay back the loans. -- Prepared intuitive workbooks that show the impact of changes in collateral and fx on total risk. This enabled the partners to spend less time on monitoring the portfolio and spend more time on expanding the portfolio. -- Using free cash flow modelling identified those projects that have the biggest profit potential and designed exit strategies. -- Preserving the good communication with Singapore Headquarters, I have answered several questions about customer candidates quickly and adequately.
