      • Served as the student lead on the Luiseño language App and engaged with 6 bands of the federally recognized tribes to coordinate language engagement in the project resulting in the Luiseño Nintendo Dsi App project. • Student research lead on the Luiseno Language A-G “How to Get to College” CSU poster. Worked with language speakers and linguist to help produce this first-ever poster in an Indigenous language for the largest University system in the country.• Participated in the “Beyond the Stereotype” poster campaign to educate the public and campus communities about cultural appropriation. Engaged as a model, worked on the graphic design, and campaign roll out. o The campaign is used throughout the United States and is being used globally in places like Brazil and Germany to combat cultural appropriation and racism. • Assisted in production of the Geographic Information System (GIS) Map of the CA K-12 schools with Native American Mascots. This map was presented to the legislature and assisted in the passage of AB 30 California Racial Mascots Act. Show less
