  Alongside day to day software development, responsibilities include to report to M.D and advise on new software proposals, associated costings, and timescales.Working on a project to upgrade a legacy software system that had been in place for over 20 years, making sure a consistent output whilst improving the overall efficiency of the workflow.Sitting down with graduates and interns to guide them through our development process, and to help alleviate any worries. Show less Worked on a project migrating from an old Excel based timesheet system to an online, browser-based app, utilizing WordPress, PHP, MySQL, and JQuery; this project enabled the users to all centrally manage their time, and automate and improve day to day admin tasks, I.e. summarisation of bookings for client reports.After the completion and successful rollout across the company, moved onto upgrades for a fatigue estimation software which aggregates, filters, and processes strain data to calculate the damage taken by aircraft.
