  The first Master's thesis investigated therapeutic genome editing with dual-gRNA CRISPR/Cas9 of deep-intronic variants in Stargardt disease.

  The second Master's internship and thesis was performed at the University of Tübingen, Germany, where I validated a novel CRISPR/Cas9 strategy targeting clustered deep-intronic variants in Stargardt disease, a degenerative retinopathy.

  At the Sanger Institute my role is to support the Sequencing Operations and wider Scientific Operations teams by introducing Quality Management System, Quality processes, aiding continuous improvement and data reproducibility. As part of the Bespoke group of Gene Editing, I worked on engineering various mammalian cell lines with CRISPR/Cas9, in projects requested by the Faculty members. At the same time, I was trained in IPSCs culture, and I worked on a large-scale Knock-out project.
