My final dissertation was on 'Interrogating Queer Through Prajwal Parajuly's "Land Where I Flee." It examined the queer spaces in Gangtok, Sikkim as well as in the literary space of Parajuly's novel.

      Activities and Societies: Presented "Baghdhara: Translating Nepali Idiomatic Phrases to English" in November, 2014 and "Beyond the Gorkha: From Myth to Man with Reference to Shiv Kumar Rai’s Dak Bangla" in May 2015. My final dissertation was titled "Beyond Rose Tinted Glasses: Reading Same-Sex Love in India." The study highlighted how same-sex love is a phenomenon that has always existed in India and that it is not a colonial import.
