  The role of the Senior Product Development Manager was both a project management function as well as a product management function, both understanding the customer needs as they relate to the product line as well as ensuring that the new product development is successful. Lead the development of the highly successful ScanMax Pro deactivation controller as well as a new Integration project to supply one of the world’s largest retailers with Bar Codes scanners with built in deactivation. Lead Engineering managing the day to day project activities to schedule. Key member in the definition and development of the first dual axis high performance ScanThru Platform deactivation controller along with the initial Power Pad Antenna. Played an instrumental role in the development of the first Acousto-Magnetic technology base integrated Bar code Scanner-deactivator with leading bar code scanning provider PSC (currently part of DataLogic). Electrical Engineer working on Analog, Digital, Microprocessor Design as well firmware development. Founding member of the deactivation engineering department and key member of the Rapid Pad II Team. Developed the Label Detection Electronics utilizing an Motorola MC68HC811 processor.
