      2021 NSW Premiers Award Finalist - Rapid roll-out of Rapid roll-out of new bike riding infrastructure in response to COVID-19 NSW Premier 2021 During the COVID-19 pandemic, with physical distancing restrictions on public transport and surging bike sales, Transport for NSW delivered new bike riding infrastructure and encouraged more people to ride a bike instead of driving or catching public transport. This innovative program included more than 28km of additional cycleways rolled out, or in delivery, across Sydney and regional NSW.
