  Internship on Energy and Water Benchmarking of hotel industry

  I undergone Internship on Energy and Water Benchmarking of hotel industry. By gathering a questionnaire part from 48 hotels, I prepared Benchmark for energy and water consumption for hotels. If their consumption's are more than the benchmark means we are suggesting to reduce their energy and water consumption.And also during my internship I am part of Team member in Energy Auditing Team in Westin Velacherry and my Part is on Water audit. We collected full details about their daily consumption and water flow levels are measured in taps by using flow meter in Kitchen, Guest rooms, Back office. After Comparing Water flow standards, their water consumption is higher than standards so we prepared proposal to reduce their consumption by suggesting to change the standard aerator's in kitchen, guest rooms.   My internship on RRF( Renewable regulatory fund) mechanism.During my Internship: (a) I learned about IEGC working part related to RRF(b) I learned about RRF and their new regulations going to amend.My activities on internship:(i) Monitoring on Wind Forecast Quality.(ii) Monitoring on DayAhead Schedules and Revision of wind generation (iii) Maintaining Track sheet on forecast quality on daily basis(iv) Preparing Reports to ensure about forecast quality on weekly, monthly basis.
