  PURPOSE:Manage and supervise the production operations of workshops, process control and improvements to ensure achieving department objectives of maintaining quality standards, defect free products and on time deliveries while complying with QMS and company rules.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Monitor production activities and execution of production plans in the relevant production unit to ensure that the production is done as per plans prepared by PPEC department.- Coordinate with Workshop Manager / Senior Manager Production on the achievement of organization's PRIME GOAL and give his suggestions on the issues, bottlenecks and problems.- Develop time and action calendar for each order and prioritize ERP jobs to load production.- Maintain data of daily, weekly and monthly plans and ensure production activities as per plans prepared and production targets achieved accordingly.- Process control and improvements in workshops (Utilization of manpower, identification of production barriers, optimum output)- Coordinate with QA and technical departments to develop working instructions, workmanship standards and process documents and ensure they are followed as standard.- Complaints handling (Root cause investigations, CAPA)- Quality control and quality assurance (In-process QC)- Monitor and manage production KPI's (Capacity, targets, rework/rejection, cost, overtime, shipment's delivery targets).- Achievement of operational excellence (Right first time, Productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, minimize waste)- Occupational health and safety (Use of PPE's, Health and safety trainings)- Training and development of workers (Training need analysis)- Support HR department in performance evaluation of workers of the concerned workshop in coordination with HOD.
