  Montenegro Dolphin Reserach Project

  Captain of Survey Vessel

  Working with the Montenegro Dolphin Project, the Natural History Association of Montenegro and the Marine Mammals Research Association (DMAD) using my own yacht as the survey vessel conducting cetacean research surveys in Montenegrin waters. Worked with on board film crews producing documentaries for TV. Mounted a whale and dolphin expedition from Montenegro to Turkey, a total of 2,500 nm were covered in 6 weeks.

  Into The Deep Blue

  Into The Deep Blue is a Non Government Organisation being set up in Montenegro to protect the Marine Environment of Montenegro and the wider Adriatic Sea from plastic and chemical pollution to protect the marine biodiversity through the food chain from phytoplankton to cetaceans. We are also raising funding to provide dolphin pingers to attach to the nets of local fishermen. This will deter the dolphins from stealing fish from the nets which causes extensive damage and can lead to entrapment and death of the dolphin.
