  I assisted a PhD student with her research regarding wastewater treatment. My responsibilities involved:Growing bacterium used for reducing platinum and palladium in wastewater.Analysis of the data which lead to a report about the effects of these bacterium in wastewater. They were deemed partially viable for wastewater treatment but requiring further research. Other tasks using various lab machinery were also completed.

  Process Engineer for a waste water treatment plant on a gold mine in Tanzania. My duties were supervising and training operators, optimizing plant performance, fault finding, conducting RCA's, reporting and problem solving.
