      Worked as a Product Engineer in the R & D department of Dura Automotive Systems to support all structural and project activities. Technical work included concept development, modification, and prototype testing. Major Accomplishments:Written Technical paper for SAE world Congress and represented Dura Automotive Systems. "Correlation of an Automotive Seat Finite Element Simulation with Dynamic Sled Testing".Received "Engineering Excellence Award" from Altair engineering for the presentation made at Altair product design innovation seminar.Lead High strength steel project for new Dura Seat adjuster to reduce weight and investigated new dynamics analysis techniques for automotive seat applications.Performed CAE Analysis on General Motors GMT 800 and Ford U387-U388 Seating systems.Created detailed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) model of automotive seat structure and performed Forward Anchorage and Impact, Rearward Moment and Impact, and Luggage Impact finite element simulations according to FMVSS requirements using HYPERMESH and LS-DYNA.Conducted Fatigue Analysis on complete seat structure and predicted the cycle of failure using SN curve.Correlated FEA simulation with analytical methods (free body diagrams, energy balances, force balances, kinematics studies) to validate FEA simulations and published HTML reports on Dura’s internal web page.
