Sept 2001 - May 2018Initiated an entirely new Business Division “Building Technologies (BT)” for Avanceon Pakistan to expand its systems integration capability into the buildings market to offer services in Fire Safety, integrated BMS (Building Management System) for HVAC along with Access Control, Video Surveillance, Lighting Control and other Smart Technologies sub systems. To facilitate the venture Avanceon partnered with world leader SIEMENS Schweiz AG. Got the team trained on Siemens technology to start pursuing business leads. Handed over the BT operations to Regional and Business Managers to take the initiative onwards. Show less Created a new business division "Energy Management Solutions (EMS)" in 2005 and served as Team Lead Energy (2005-2006), Energy Manager (2007 - 2009) & Business Manager Energy (2009 -2012). Spearheaded P&L management, business development, energy performance contracts, sales strategies, energy proposals and project coordination with engineering and software teams. Served as Program Manager and main contact person for energy projects with customers throughout the complete project cycle. Introduced a new dimension of offering energy conservations projects with Guaranteed Returns. The uniqueness of the program was “pay as you save” model with absolutely no financial risk of reduced savings. Steered development of Avanceon’s intellectual energy products:-iWater: A complete calculation engine for implementing demand based supply management solution through instrumentation and control systems for all industrial water pumping applications. -iBoiler: complete boiler master control and steam management solution.-iCompressor: Savings in compressed air systems. -Energy Dashboard: A complete package for real-time energy and mass balance for industrial utilities including fuel, water, compressed air, steam and electricity along with Consumption profile at different business units of the plant, offering real-time view to plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from anywhere and direct connectivity to ERP systems. Built a dedicated team of Energy Engineers and Managers with electrical, mechatronics, mechanical & chemical engineering backgrounds. Mentored team on energy projects including feasibility analysis, energy audit, project design, costing, equipment selection, installation, commissioning and energy testing to prove tangible savings on industrial processes. Standardized procedures & study forms for energy audits, project designing, material selection, costing, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and energy testing to prove tangible savings.
